Bachelor thesis planning information

The planning and processing of a thesis is an important stage and step in the context of teacher training. In order to ensure a smooth and transparent process, we would like to inform you in the following about the relevant deadlines in the process.

Can the bachelor thesis be written in vocational and business education?

Yes, but only in formal and substantive cooperation with your professional discipline. It does not matter whether your supervisor from BWP has the role of first or second examiner.

Deadlines during the writing process of the bachelor thesis

Processing time: 3 months from registration
Note: in the case of empirical work, there is the possibility of an extension of a further two months in accordance with § 10 (2) StPO.

Time for correction: 6 weeks
Attention: The correction period begins after the three-month processing period has expired!

The following chart gives you an overview of the relevant deadlines during the processing of your Bachelor's thesis, taking into account an immediate transition to the Master's program at the University of Osnabrück or the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences.

Get an overview of the people in charge at BWP and contact them personally. For this you can use the person pages of the AG Bals and Frommberger or the list of Erst- und Zweitprüfenden.
