Information on the processing of master theses
The planning and processing of a thesis is an important stage and step in the context of teacher training. In order to ensure a smooth and transparent process, we would like to inform you in the following about the relevant deadlines in the process.
Deadlines during the processing of the master thesis
Processing time: 4 months from registration
Note: in the case of empirical work, there is the possibility of an extension of a further two months in accordance with § 10 (2) StPO.
Time for correction: 8 weeks
Attention: The correction period begins after the four-month processing time has expired!
Participation in the colloquium
During the processing of the master's thesis, participation in the colloquium for theses is obligatory.
The different working groups of vocational and business education offer individual colloquia. Participation must take place in the colloquium of the working group in which the master's thesis is written. In addition, participation must be timed so that the results of the master's thesis can be presented in the colloquium during the semester.

Get an overview of the people in charge at BWP and contact them personally. For this you can use the person pages of the AG Bals and Frommberger or the list of Erst- und Zweitprüfenden.
Attention: For the processing of master theses in the working groups of Prof. Dr. Frommberger and Junprof. Dr. Lange, an application procedure for first supervisions of master theses will be tested from the winter semester 2021/22 on.
